Walmart’s Q3 results reveal continued weakness in its core US stores with total sales up 2.4%, and comp store sales, a key benchmark indicator, down 0.3%, in line with the previous quarter.
Total and comp store sales at Sam’s Club were up 1.1%, while internationally, sales growth remains tough, up 0.2% in the quarter. However, all business units grew operating income ahead of sales.
