Auchan Retail reported its turnover was down by 1%, to €30.5 bn, or by 2.2% on a like-for-like basis. The retailer said its results were impacted by continued challenges in France, while following strong growth in 2020, Auchan’s results in 2021 in Spain and Portugal ‘suffered by comparison’.
