Speaking to an audience of over 900 suppliers in Manchester on 29 September, major convenience retailer Co-op has set out the future direction of its food business with a new strategic blueprint entitled ‘Pure Convenience’. Led by new Food Managing Director Matt Hood and the new-look senior team, with Adele Balmforth as Director of Proposition and Sinead Bell as Commercial Director, the business shared its vision to evolve the Co-op proposition as it faces into the challenges posed by the developing cost-of-living crisis.
